More Ways to Give

  • Honor a lost loved one, recognize someone special or commemorate a milestone by making a special gift in their name that will help protect animals. A Tribute gift is a personal way to recognize a human and/or animal by dedicating a gift to Ohio Animal Advocates in their name. You can give in honor, memory, or celebration.

    Make a gift in honor of someone close to you by listing them as the Honoree when you donate. You can also cherish the memory of a loved one by giving a gift in their memory. This is a wonderful way to recognize the important impact someone has had on your life by donating to OAA. Finally, give in celebration of a birthday, anniversary, wedding, graduation, or other special occasion.

  • You can leave a legacy of hope by incorporating charitable gifts into your overall financial and estate plans. Making a gift through your will, retirement plan, trust, or insurance policy ensures that OAA can continue our critical work to make Ohio a place where all animals are protected from cruelty, abuse, and neglect.

    We recommend consulting with your financial or legal advisor to make sure your contribution meets legal requirements, and to take advantage of any available financial benefits.

  • Consider supporting OAA through a variety of corporate programs. You may choose to donate to OAA through charitable giving programs available at your workplace.

    Matching gift programs encourage employees to contribute to organizations by matching dollar for dollar, and some may even double or triple the amount of your gift. Matching programs are a great way to make your generous donation reach farther! Inquire about donation matching with your company or look to see if they have a matching program here.

    Corporate giving campaigns take many forms but often involve donating through payroll deductions. One common campaign is the government-driven Combined Federal Campaign, and there are several other state or regional campaigns which may take place in your area.
