Voters Demand Action on Housing Affordability
A new poll shows that Ohio voters overwhelmingly agree: housing affordability is a serious issue, and it's time for elected leaders to take action.
According to the National Low Income Housing Coalition’s Opportunity Starts at Home campaign, 82% of voters believe the government must play a key role in making housing more affordable. Additionally, the majority of voters oppose policies that criminalize homelessness, recognizing that this only worsens the problem.
Ohioans are calling for long-term solutions, including stronger renter protections and increased investments in affordable housing. Read Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio’s press release here.
