October Book of the Month
The OAA October recommended book of the month is Fellow Creatures: Our Obligations to the Other Animals by Christine M. Korsgaard!
This book presents a compelling new view of humans’ moral relationships with other animals. Christine defends the claim that we are obligated to treat all sentient beings as what Kant called “ends in themselves.” This philosophical argument encourages readers to think critically about how we treat other animals.
