Ring in the New Year with OAA

As we welcome the new year, let’s take a moment to reflect on the difference we’ve made for animals and the opportunities ahead to create an even brighter future for them. At Ohio Animal Advocates, we’re filled with gratitude for your support and the compassion you’ve shown throughout the past year. Together, we’ve worked to ensure animals across Ohio receive the love, care, and protection they deserve.

A Fresh Start for Animals in 2025

The new year is a time for renewal and resolutions. Let’s resolve to make 2025 a year of meaningful change for animals in our communities. Here’s how you can help:

  • Support Local Shelters and Rescues: Donate supplies, funds, or your time to organizations making a difference for animals in need. Every contribution, big or small, has an impact.

  • Advocate for Animal Welfare: Join us in advocating for policies and programs that improve the lives of animals across Ohio.

  • Adopt or Foster: Start the year by opening your home and heart to an animal in need of a forever or temporary home.

Celebrate Safely with Your Furry Friends

As we count down to midnight, let’s also ensure our pets have a safe and stress-free celebration:

  • Mind the Noise: Fireworks and loud parties can be overwhelming for pets. Create a quiet, cozy space where they can feel secure.

  • Stick to Pet-Safe Treats: Keep holiday snacks and beverages out of reach to avoid accidental ingestion of harmful foods.

  • Update Pet IDs: Make sure your pet’s ID tags and microchip information are current, just in case they get spooked and wander off.

Looking Ahead

Start the Year with Compassion
Consider making a donation to Ohio Animal Advocates to kick off the year. Together, we can create a world where every animal is valued and loved.

Together, we can make this holiday season brighter for animals in need. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and commitment to making Ohio a more compassionate place for all creatures.

Happy New Year from all of us at Ohio Animal Advocates! Let’s make 2025 a year of progress for animals and the people who love them.
