Presented by Dr. Lisa Warren Dr. Warren is the founder of Veterinarians to the Rescue and owner of Focus Veterinary Care. Both organizations serve to eliminate economic euthanasia in Kentucky and beyond. After selling her general practice of nearly 20 years in the Denver foothills, she moved to Lexington, KY with her dogs, cats, and horses planning on early retirement. The reality of a crisis in access to affordable care and high numbers of economic euthanasia motivated Dr. Warren to create a sustainable solution that could be implemented in a large scale across the country.

Veterinarian owned and managed, in just two years of opening, her business model is not only sustainable and profitable, but has helped thousands of pets avoid economic euthanasia and receive the care they need. This model also provides a fulfilling and positive work environment for the veterinarian, staff, 501c3 rescues and the general public they serve.
